Job description
As a Software Engineer on the Stability Quality team, you will focus on developing intelligent automation frameworks and tools to enhance data center system validation at scale. The team combines machine learning capabilities with hardware knowledge to create advanced testing solutions for Apple's data center infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering and QA teams to identify risks and gather insights from test data. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability and reliability of large-scale deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or test automation
- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Proficiency with Python and experience building robust, scalable automation frameworks
- Experience with hardware/software validation, integration testing, or system and rack validation methodologies
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience with data analysis and developing data visualizations using tools such as Tableau
- Experience applying machine learning to anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, or test optimization
- Experience with hardware bring-up, debug, and troubleshooting in data center systems
