The System Experience Calendar team at Apple is seeking a senior engineer to help redefine modern calendaring across Apple's platforms. This role involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to drive new initiatives and enhance user experiences for billions of customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive app development experience and a strong track record in architecting high-performance applications. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in code quality and engineering processes while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proficient in Objective C and Swift.
- Strong command of mixed-language codebases, including interoperability between Objective-C and Swift.
- Proficiency with concurrency and state management on Apple platforms.
- 10+ years of engineering experience building mobile and desktop projects.
- Background in designing platform or system-level components or APIs.
- Hands-on experience with time-based data models, iCalendar, and CalDAV standards.
- Proficiency using Instruments and advanced debugging tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, data engineering, product, design, and other teams to drive new initiatives.
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, unit testing, and engineering processes.
