Job description
The FDT Engineering Manager role at Apple involves leading a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers within the Finance Digital Transformation team. Requirements
- M.S. in a related quantitative field with three years of experience leading a data team
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering data-driven solutions
- 2+ years managing technical or product-centric teams
- Experience delivering data solutions in a product context using agile scrum
- Practical experience with and theoretical understanding of algorithms and methods for forecasting, regression, and classification
- Experience implementing and supporting data pipelines
- Understanding of and hands-on experience with relational databases
- Excellent visual communication ability using code or software
- SQL and Python expert including experience evaluating and optimizing others' code
- Familiarity with encryption and data security standards
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and version control
- Experience working with containerized environments
- Corporate finance and accounting experience is an advantage
