The Music Creation Apps team is seeking a Software Engineer in Test who is dedicated to ensuring high-quality products like Logic Pro and Voice Memos. This role involves close collaboration with developers to maintain the reliability and performance of applications. The engineer will contribute to testing strategies from the design phase through to product launch. A strong focus on automation and quality assurance is essential for this position.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering with a focus on automation.
• 3+ years of experience in Python and Swift programming.
• Experience with audio, media frameworks, or performance testing.
• Background in building test frameworks or developer tools.
• Experience with professional music and/or audio production.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation for the Voice Memos app across multiple platforms.
• Develop tools and frameworks to improve test coverage, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Investigate, triage, and debug failures.
• Document and clearly report issues with actionable reproduction steps, logs, and insights.
