Job description
The System Integration Lead will coordinate and represent the definition and execution of manufacturing tests for Apple's product lines, including iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. This role requires a strong understanding of software fundamentals and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products. The position involves collaboration with Hardware, Software, and Operations teams to track and communicate the status of software features. The contributions made in this role will significantly impact the quality of future Apple products.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience in engineering
- 3+ years of experience in program management
- Experience with SoC development and testing
- Experience with embedded systems development
- MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and/or relevant work experience
- Good understanding of software development
- Strong EE fundamentals
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Manufacturing experience and prior exposure to working with Contract Manufacturers
- Ability to drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities
- Good multitasking capabilities with ability to handle frequent context switches
- Linux command line/scripting experience is a plus
- MacOS and/or iOS experience is a plus
- Python/Lua experience is a plus
- Data Analysis and visualizations experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution of manufacturing tests for Apple's product lines.
- Coordinate with multi-functional teams to define, schedule, and track software features.
- Communicate the status of software features to executive management.
- Work with Hardware, Software, and Operations teams on product bring-up and testing.
- Ensure the quality benchmark for Apple products is met through effective testing.
