Job description

The Cellular and Connectivity Team at Apple is seeking a skilled individual to advance wireless connectivity technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. This role involves designing, developing, and patenting innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences with Apple products. The ideal candidate will possess strong embedded programming skills and a user-focused mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in embedded system software development.
  • Strong Software Engineering skills including design and programming using C/C++.
  • Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python or Perl.
  • Experience in wireless software development, Access Stratum, or cellular protocols is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to write thoughtful and maintainable code.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
