Job description
The Packaging EPM role focuses on developing and orchestrating the unboxing experience for Apple products. This position involves managing development activities, executing builds, and coordinating testing within a fast-paced consumer electronics environment. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Product Design, Industrial Design, and Marketing, to ensure high-quality product delivery. The Packaging EPM will leverage manufacturing knowledge to create efficient processes that enhance customer experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related packaging or mechanical background
- 5 years of combined experience in project management delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high aesthetic quality
- Knowledge of product development processes and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Proficient in creating and maintaining project timelines and developing product strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional communication between teams and external vendors
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of packaging projects
- Drive the product development process in a high-volume environment
- Create and monitor efficient processes to mitigate risk and correct issues
- Identify and direct resources required to execute successful projects
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining flexibility
