Job description

The Siri team is seeking a manager for the engineering program manager team focused on Siri Speech technologies. This role involves leading a team of Program Managers to drive machine learning modeling, data, and infrastructure initiatives. The manager will collaborate with engineering management to oversee project aspects including definition, scheduling, prioritization, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system software and project management, with a passion for delivering innovative AI products.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of management experience leading a team of program managers
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management within large organizations
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and design trade-offs
  • Proven ability to lead and resolve conflicts within complex teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in hands-on software development or machine learning
