Job description

The Display Image Processing Algorithms Engineer role at Apple involves working within the Platform Architecture team to develop state-of-the-art algorithms and architectures for display subsystems in Apple's application processors. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including display and SoC architects, to support the development of SoC display architectures across multiple products. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience prototyping algorithms in Matlab, Python, or C/C++.
  • Experience with digital signal, image, or video processing.
  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to abstract various image and video processing problems mathematically.

Responsibilities

  • Design algorithms and architectures for the display sub-system of Apple's application processor chip.
  • Collaborate with engineers across Apple to develop algorithms that enhance user experiences.
  • Develop new algorithms and architectures that are competitive with state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Take features and algorithms from concept to shipping products.
  • Understand aspects of algorithms related to hardware architecture.
