Job description

The Datacenter Systems Architecture team is looking for a Power Systems Architect to lead the design of system power architecture and power management for new products. This role requires a multi-disciplinary approach, providing architectural guidance to cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power electronics and server system designs. The position may involve occasional travel, both domestic and international.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Core competence in power electronics for server system designs.
  • Strong technical breadth across several computer subsystem technologies.
  • Experience in defining power architecture solutions for complex server system designs.

Responsibilities

  • Influence and drive new product designs in system power architecture.
  • Provide architectural guidance and leadership to engineering teams.
  • Create, review, and approve engineering requirement specification documents.
  • Model and characterize power states and system power budgets.
  • Understand schematics, PCB layout, and designs.
