As a software engineer on the Siri team at Apple, you will contribute to the development of intelligent assistant features that enhance user experiences across Apple's ecosystem. Requirements
- M.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- iOS software development experience
- Exceptional development experience at the application or library level with Objective-C and/or Swift
- Strong understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of developing products with a focus on delivering an exceptional user experience
- Experience working on large, cross-functional, and multi-team projects
- Experience with voice assistant technologies, GenAI, or conversational AI systems
Responsibilities
- Design and build intelligent assistant features across Apple's software platforms
- Tackle complex AI/ML challenges and shape architectural decisions
- Collaborate closely with system architects, designers, ML engineers, app teams, and QA partners
- Drive significant feature initiatives and projects from concept to release
- Mentor team members and share insights to elevate the team's engineering practices
- Ensure Siri delivers seamless, intelligent experiences that delight users
