Job description

The role involves designing, developing, and launching next-generation Touch Technologies for Apple products. The Touch Technology team focuses on creating innovative solutions that enhance the multi-touch user experience across devices like the iPhone and iPad. As an analog ASIC architect, you will analyze applications to develop optimal analog front end architectures for touch and sensing ASICs. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the designs integrate seamlessly with overall product goals.

Requirements

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience developing and launching high volume IC designs
  • Strong electrical engineering background in analog circuit design
  • Experience in system-level design and requirements documentation
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Verilog, or similar simulation tools
  • Ph.D. and a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Architect Touch sensing systems and the required ASICs
  • Translate high level user requirements into realizable systems
  • Create high level models and detailed specifications of requirements
  • Work cross-functionally to identify critical design interactions
  • Conduct IC bring-up and debugging activities
