This role is part of Apple's Silicon Technologies group, focusing on designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. The position involves product characterization and analyzing the impact of hardware on SoC performance. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to enhance product quality and innovation. • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 10 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process.
• Proven understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals and DFT concepts.
• Experience in system level/mother board characterization and data collection.
• Expertise in programming with scripting languages such as PERL and Python.
• Knowledge of test equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Experience in board bring up, hardware design, and PDN noise analysis is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal team members and external suppliers.

• Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to resolve root causes of issues.
• Perform correlation between ATE and different hardware setups.
• Partner with design, process, and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions on both new and mature products and technologies.
• Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications based on design intent and characterization results.
• Perform statistical data analysis on mass data sets to set up test limits.
• Complete yield analyses and correlation analysis for all levels of test insertions.
• Support test time reduction related characterization activities.
• Coordinate test-related activities and reviews with both internal and external groups.
