Job description

The Engineering Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives for Apple Card and Savings projects within the Wallet, Payments & Commerce team. This role requires managing complex technical programs and ensuring alignment among multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving project delivery while maintaining high-quality outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of Technical and Cross-Functional Project and/or Program Management experience.
  • 6+ years of leading cross-functional projects and managing dependencies across internal and external partners.
  • 6+ years of driving complex technical programs and implementing delivery processes.
  • 3+ recent years of leading an engineering team through the SDLC of a customer-facing product.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Apple Card and Savings projects from concept through delivery.
  • Scope and prepare projects across multiple teams while handling documentation.
  • Effectively communicate project status and manage project risk.
  • Facilitate technical design brainstorming sessions and build positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and grow other Engineering Project Managers in the PMO team.
