Job description
The Display Hardware Technology Engineering organization seeks a display technology architect to innovate new display features for Apple customers. This role involves using system design expertise to create and implement advanced display technologies with significant customer impact. The architect will work closely with various teams, including electrical engineering, software, firmware, and silicon, to develop comprehensive solutions. Engaging with internal partners will help ensure that customer requirements are met effectively.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Experience with complex system design, including electrical hardware, firmware, and software components
- Master's or Ph.D. in a related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
- Prior knowledge of display and touch hardware design, particularly with OLED
- Expertise in firmware or software development
- Prior experience in advanced system modeling
- Strong electrical, computer, and software engineering fundamentals
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent written skills for developing specifications and reporting data

- Collaborate with EE, software, firmware, system, and silicon teams to build solutions
- Engage with internal customer experience partners to understand customer requirements
