Job description

The Full-Stack Engineer will be an integral part of Marcom's internal tools, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving performance and system limitations. This role is situated within Marcom Platforms & Services, which specializes in technology capabilities for advertising and marketing. The engineer will collaborate with internal business partners and external vendors to enhance user experiences. The position requires both front-end and back-end development expertise, particularly using the Ruby on Rails framework.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails framework and Ruby as a core language.
  • Knowledge of basic frontend development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Exposure to AWS and DevOps.
  • Experience using Ansible or similar Infrastructure as Code tools with 2+ years of experience.
  • Understanding of security best practices and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations.
  • Create and modify documentation for web applications and their integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and technology resources.
  • Work with external vendors to enhance internal tools.
  • Engage in both front-end and back-end development tasks.
