Job description

The Apple Knowledge & Information (AKI) Entity Resolution team is seeking senior and staff engineers to lead software projects that enhance user experience across Apple's products. This role involves building a personalized system that adapts to individual user needs through advanced technologies. Candidates will work closely with subject matter experts to create seamless Siri experiences. The position requires a blend of technical leadership and hands-on engineering skills in various cutting-edge fields.

Requirements

  • 8 years of professional software experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
  • Experience leading software engineering teams and/or projects
  • Experience designing and shipping novel systems architectures
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing for Apple's platforms
  • Experience building voice computing systems or subsystems
  • Swift or Objective-C experience preferred, with Rust, C++, or similar also acceptable
  • Experience building machine learning based systems
  • Mobile and/or embedded development experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead software projects that integrate user knowledge into Apple's products
  • Design, build, and integrate components for personalized Siri experiences
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create a seamless platform
  • Identify and generalize similar software solutions into libraries, frameworks, or platforms
