Job description

As a NAND Product Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in defining mass storage solutions for Apple's world-class products. You will leverage your expertise in flash memory processes and device engineering while collaborating with multi-functional teams. Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a relevant technical field
  • Expertise in NAND development with a focus on product engineering, design, and process integration
  • Experience with NAND failure analysis, testing, and debug efforts
  • MS or PhD in a technical subject area with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to perform hands-on measurements of NAND arrays and connect transistor properties to full product operation
  • Experience across multiple lithographies from device definition to final qualification
  • Understanding of key NAND system specifications for embedded NAND and SSD solutions
  • Experience in competitor analysis of NAND die and solutions
  • Experience with NAND flash engineering and processing
  • 3-D NAND development experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop mass storage solutions for Apple's products
  • Drive technical initiatives with external suppliers and multi-functional teams
  • Conduct hands-on measurements and analyses of NAND technology
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure product quality and performance
  • Analyze competitor NAND solutions to inform product development
