The SoC Firmware Engineer will be a key member of Apple's Wireless SoC firmware team, focusing on hardware and system bring-up, drivers, and network stack support. This role is critical in ensuring the quality of firmware for manufacturability and involves close collaboration with the Software Engineering team. The position emphasizes embedded software development for System on a Chip (SoC) and requires expertise in low-level drivers and hardware validation. The engineer will contribute to the development of energy-efficient wireless technologies that enhance user experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong background in embedded software development using C and assembly languages.
• Familiarity with ARM CPUs and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
• Experience in performing low-level drivers and hardware bring-up on FPGA and SoC platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Experience with industry standards for wireless communications such as Bluetooth, WLAN, or UWB.

• Craft and implement embedded software for System on a Chip (SoC) bring-up and testing.
