Job description

The Engineering Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives for Apple Card and Savings projects within the Wallet, Payments & Commerce team. This role requires managing dependencies across multiple stakeholders and ensuring project delivery in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with operational rigor to drive high-quality outcomes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative solutions in the financial technology space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of Technical and Cross-Functional Project and/or Program Management experience.
  • 6+ years of leading cross-functional projects and managing dependencies across internal and external partners.
  • 6+ years of driving complex technical programs and implementing delivery processes.
  • 3+ recent years of leading an engineering team through the SDLC of a customer-facing product.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Apple Card and Savings projects by scoping and preparing initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Handle project documentation and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks and drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Facilitate technical design brainstorming sessions and build positive relationships with cross-functional organizations.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow other Engineering Project Managers in the PMO team.
