Job description

In this role, you will lead the development of Siri's Execution and Agentic platform, which is essential for processing all Siri requests across Apple devices. You will collaborate with various teams both within and outside of Siri to gather requirements and guide the evolution of the platform. The position requires a strong focus on managing engineering teams and mentoring individual contributors. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing Siri's capabilities and overall user experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of engineering management experience, including mentoring individual contributors.
  • Experience building on-device infrastructure for handsets or other devices.
  • Proven track record of developing a product vision and achieving cross-functional alignment.
  • Ability to empathize with client teams and understand their needs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with Swift and its capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of Siri's Execution and Agentic platform.
  • Partner with various organizations to gather requirements.
  • Lead teams through the evolution of the platform to support increasing complexity.
  • Translate requirements from design to implementation within larger teams.
  • Manage team performance and take ownership of driving outcomes.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
