Job description

The team is seeking a software engineer to enhance the intelligence and personalization of iOS through on-device machine learning. This role involves collaborating with software and machine learning engineers to design and implement innovative experiences across iOS and other Apple platforms. The focus is on developing frameworks that improve user experience while maintaining privacy and performance. The engineer will contribute to high-quality features that impact millions of Apple customers daily.

Requirements

  • BS, M.S. or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of Objective-C, C, or Swift.
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals and Software engineering standard methodologies.
  • Experience in resource constrained computing, such as embedded systems or mobile development.
  • Experience with UI development, design and prototyping.
  • Experience with machine learning, generative models or large language models.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of software and frameworks that enhance iOS experiences.
  • Collaborate with talented engineers to design and architect new features.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve the codebase and architecture.
