Job description

The Mobile Apps team at Apple is seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance the quality of mobile e-commerce and retail experiences through the Apple Store App. This role involves driving testing and coordinating QA efforts in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, ensuring that applications meet high standards of quality. You will collaborate with various teams across Apple, contributing to the development of applications used by millions of customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in testing
  • Deep understanding of software QA methodologies and practices
  • Knowledge of Client/Server Architecture and mobile e-Commerce domain
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks
  • MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze requirements to create and execute test plans and test cases
  • Provide clear and concise information to Engineering teams based on advanced iOS experience
  • Interact daily with teams across Apple, including iOS software and hardware engineering
  • Own quality for a complete functional area of an application or product
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues while applying analytical thinking skills to assess project quality
  • Adapt easily in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
