The CoreMotion Motion & Interaction team is seeking a talented Software Engineer to test and validate CoreMotion features. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes collaboration between testing and development. The engineer will have the opportunity to shape and enhance software that impacts millions of Apple customers. The focus is on sensor fusion technologies and motion gestures that enhance user interaction with devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
- Prior experience in sensor fusion, control design, signal processing, machine learning, robotics, AR/VR, or inertial sensors.
- Experience working at the intersection of hardware and software.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Swift.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with smartphones, fitness trackers, or headphones related to sensor technologies is a plus.
