Join the Apple Services Engineering Data Platform team to design and build scalable data platform services used across Apple. This role involves developing high-performance systems that handle billions of transactions daily, requiring creative problem-solving skills. • 3+ years of experience in data processing ecosystems
• Coding experience in Java, Scala, or Go, preferably with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience in designing and developing stateless APIs using HTTP and similar protocols
• Ability to design large-scale, complex applications with low latency and fault-tolerance
• Understanding of MPP Query Engines like Trino and Starrocks
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience contributing to Open Source projects is a plus
• Experience with multiple public cloud infrastructures is a plus
• Experience in cluster management/orchestration software like Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Helm charts, or Docker is a plus
