The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work on the Siri User Experience Metrics team, focusing on building tools and platforms that enhance user interactions with Siri across various Apple platforms. This role involves designing scalable systems to analyze data and provide actionable insights for product decisions. The engineer will play a crucial role in developing an automated anomaly detection system to identify performance regressions. This position requires strong programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to drive impact across teams.

• Master's degree with 8+ years of industry experience in machine learning, or Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience applying ML to real-world business problems.
• Strong understanding of core ML concepts, particularly in unsupervised learning methods and feature engineering.
• Advanced coding skills in Python with at least 5 years of experience using pandas, scikit-learn, and a deep learning framework.
• Hands-on experience with data preprocessing and building ML models using distributed processing frameworks.
• Experience applying large language models for downstream tasks and deploying models in various environments.
• Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and lead complex projects in cross-functional environments.
• Proven expertise with anomaly detection and time series modeling.
• Experience in developing ML infrastructure and large-scale operations.
