The Engineering Program Manager will play a vital role in Apple's Product Integrity Strategic Engineering Program Management group, focusing on ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations and supporting Apple's Smarter Chemistry goals. This position requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions in product design and engineering. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to learn while fostering relationships with partners. The role also involves navigating conflicts and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in consumer electronics and chemical regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated track record in chemical regulatory advocacy
- Familiarity with global environmental product compliance requirements such as RoHS and REACH
- Knowledge and experience in green chemistry and the impacts of chemicals on human and environmental health
- Proficiency in program management with the ability to lead complex projects
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- MSME/MSEE/MSCE or MBA preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of medical device hardware, testing, and manufacturing processes
