Job description
Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is seeking an Engineering New Product Technology Project Manager to oversee NPI build management and material readiness for key technologies. The role focuses on managing build matrices, materials forecasting, and logistics readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver who can analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies. This position requires effective communication and strong organizational skills to support engineering development builds.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in supply chain program management including build management and supplier management.
- Configuration management and Bill of Material (BOM) experience.
- Proficient in Excel or Numbers and capable of learning new software applications quickly.
- Effective reciprocal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong strategic critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Drive NPI build planning activities and manage build matrices for components and assemblies.
- Build strategic partnerships with internal and external partners.
- Develop risk mitigation plans and execute issue resolution.
- Run material forecasting and planning with key module and component vendors.
- Conduct CTB (Clear to Build) analysis and reporting.
- Manage logistics readiness, budget, procurement, and configuration management activities.
