Job description
Join Apple's wireless silicon development team as a PHY Design Verification Engineer, where you will play a critical role in pre-silicon RTL verification of wireless PHY and its interfaces. This position is part of a world-class engineering team focused on energy-efficient design and innovative technologies that enhance user experience. You will collaborate with DV methodologists, designers, and communication systems engineers to ensure the highest design quality. Your work will impact the delivery of world-class silicon for wireless products used by millions of customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Verification experience of wireless or wired communication block or subsystem.
- Advanced knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, and SystemVerilog Assertion.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of ASIC verification flows including test bench development, constrained random testing, and code or functional coverage.
- Experience using Matlab or C reference model and bit-accurate verification.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, UWB, WLAN, or Zigbee.
- Proficient in shell and Python scripting, as well as Perl scripting.
- Experience using AI technologies in data mining or analysis.
- Experience with Palladium or FPGA validation.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-silicon RTL verification of wireless PHY and its interfaces.
- Develop reusable test benches and verification environments.
- Deploy the latest methodology with metric-driven verification.
- Ensure the highest design quality through collaboration with DV methodologists and engineers.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
