Apple is seeking a Panel Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced TFT technologies for various display products. The role involves creating high-performance TFT panel designs that enhance the display capabilities of Apple devices. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful project implementation. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering and experience in display technologies.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including analog and digital circuit design
• In-depth technical knowledge of displays or related electronics
• Experience with SPICE/Cadence modeling and simulation
• Understanding of Thin-Film Transistors and panel processes
• Experience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performance
• Experience in designing and manufacturing high-volume display products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Architect and develop total TFT pixel and panel designs for mass production
• Conduct TFT pixel/control circuit simulation and circuit layout optimization
• Perform whole panel architecture simulation and co-existence simulations with other components
• Scope and define TFT panel architecture
• Conduct failure mode analysis and root cause investigation for mass-production display development
• Explore and validate new TFT technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including TFT process, optics, touch designers, silicon designers, mechanical engineering, and product design
• Work with external vendors for display manufacturing
• Travel internationally to support project implementation
