Job description

The Graphics Acceleration Software team within the Media, Graphics & Compute Technologies group at Apple is seeking a dedicated engineer to enhance GPU, display, and power-management software for iOS and macOS products. This role involves working with core technologies that drive Apple's media experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills and a solid understanding of operating systems and device drivers. The team focuses on delivering innovative software solutions that support Apple's diverse product lineup.

Requirements

  • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++.
  • Development experience on Unix, Linux, or Mac OS.
  • Strong software design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
  • Experience with operating system concepts and kernel-mode device driver development.
  • Technical BS/MS degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of display technology.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience with parallel and asynchronous processing.
  • Experience with hardware bring up and debugging.
