Job description
The Apple TV System UI Experience team is looking for a passionate UI Software Engineer to enhance the Apple TV experience through high-performance system UI development. This role involves collaboration with design, UI frameworks, and core OS teams to create fluid and responsive user interfaces. The engineer will have the opportunity to work on significant features in tvOS, including the Home Screen and Control Center. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and making a real impact on user experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages in a highly scalable environment.
- Excellent Swift and Objective-C coding experience, including work with APIs, frameworks, and SDKs.
- Strong attention to detail in building UI and end-user experiences, particularly for Apple platforms.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
- Experience debugging and optimizing code to maximize performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to develop high-performance system UI.
- Own significant features in critical areas of tvOS, such as the Home Screen and Control Center.
- Propose, implement, and present ideas that shape the Apple TV experience.
- Analyze large features and implement practical solutions.
- Independently learn new technologies to enhance development processes.
