The role is for a detail-oriented technical engineering project manager within a unique Software Development group focused on securing platforms including iOS software and devices, as well as Mac. The individual will collaborate with various teams such as Dev, QA, Infrastructure, and SRE to lead cross-functional efforts in Apple manufacturing and data center environments. This position requires strong communication, organization, and technical skills to manage operational projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic and motivated, ready to take on a challenging and rewarding opportunity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical program or project management experience for large-scale Infrastructure projects.
- Deep understanding of architecture and integration points of application sets.
- Proven track record and technical knowledge in infrastructure delivery, DevOps, SRE, and/or software engineering.
- Experience with Tableau or similar dashboard applications.
- B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent major.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant fields.
Responsibilities
- Drive and organize cross-functional efforts across Apple manufacturing and data center environments.
- Build strong customer relationships with operations, data centers, suppliers, vendors, and manufacturing teams.
- Identify opportunities that benefit the customer and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Drive root cause analysis and identify the correct solutions for incident management.
- Communicate effectively with globally dispersed project teams and leadership.
- Scope projects, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolutions.
