The 3D Vision team at Apple Maps is seeking talented individuals to join their group of computer vision and machine learning experts. The role focuses on researching and developing innovative methods and algorithms for creating accurate and hyper-realistic 3D experiences on a global scale. Candidates will work with cutting-edge technology in areas such as differentiable rendering and generative models. Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
- Significant experience in researching and developing innovative approaches within Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
- Masters degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience.
- Published papers in top-tier CV/ML conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, and Siggraph.
- Solid programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Some experience with C/C++ and GPU/graphics languages such as CUDA, OpenGL, or Metal is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop novel methods within differentiable rendering, generative models, and other areas of computer vision and machine learning.
- Collaborate with a small team to craft accurate and hyper-realistic 3D experiences.
- Utilize deep learning frameworks and infrastructure to implement innovative solutions.
