The WW Materials Program Manager at Apple is crucial for ensuring operational success within the Procurement organization. This strategic supply chain role focuses on materials readiness, availability, and visibility, while collaborating with Contract Manufacturers and internal teams. The position involves managing the Clear-to-Build process and developing allocation strategies for constrained materials. The MPM will also identify material risks and communicate critical updates to leadership.

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain or a related area
• BS/BA in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field
• Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data
• Advanced modeling and predictive analytical skills; 'Advanced User' of MS Excel with a deep understanding of Excel techniques
• Professional experience with complex supply chain, technical expertise, or prior OEM management experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required
• International experience and Mandarin, Japanese, or Vietnamese language skills a plus
• MBA or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management preferred

• Manage the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process with suppliers and OEMs to ensure efficient procurement strategy visibility.
• Partner with the CM to develop a model that projects availability in support of supply/demand goals.
• Create allocation strategies for constrained materials and provide direction to Global Supply Managers and Apple Suppliers.
• Challenge and influence Demand Planning and Strategic Sourcing teams to improve allocation and maximize revenue.
• Identify E & O and other material risks, recommend actions to leadership, and mitigate liability to the business.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for phasing out obsolete parts and new product materials.
• Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates at weekly Sustaining Executive Program reviews.
• Maintain executive reports and summaries, providing accurate and timely data to leadership on a weekly basis.
• Ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules and inventory control requirements.
