Job description

The Machine Learning Engineer role at Apple focuses on predictive analytics and analytic engineering within the Product Marketing Customer Analytics team. Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related field is required.
  • 8+ years of hands-on programming skills for large-scale data processing.
  • Excellent understanding of analytical methods and machine learning algorithms, including regression, clustering, classification, and optimization.
  • Proven experience building and scaling predictive models across distributed systems such as Spark and Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable with advanced deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Marketing, Investor Relations, and the Executive Team with predictive analytics for customer product and services engagement.
  • Develop scalable ML algorithms and models to understand customer behavior and provide actionable insights.
  • Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines using best-in-class MLOps frameworks.
  • Manage ML projects through all phases, including data quality, algorithm development, predictive modeling, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and infrastructure partners to implement robust solutions and operationalize models.
