Job description

The Display Hardware team is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation displays for Mac products. This role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation. The engineer will focus on integrating cutting-edge display technologies into new products. The position requires a passion for crafting and innovating in the field of electrical engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in mixed-signal EE design at either IC or PCB level.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB.
  • Experience with design and analysis in power electronics, analog/digital circuits, or high-speed signal integrity.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
  • Experience with full ECAD workflow for schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM generation.
  • Skills in scripting, factory data processing, or test automation, with programming experience in Python, Shell script, or similar.
  • Consumer electronics and high-volume production experience.
  • Familiarity with modern display technologies such as LCD, TFT, OLED, and LED.

Responsibilities

  • Develop factory test plans and manage manufacturer partners to conduct data collection.
  • Analyze large-scale data to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams.
  • Conduct EE validation and characterization tasks using lab equipment and test automation.
  • Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment.
