Job description

The Power Integrity Engineer role at Apple involves working with multi-functional teams to design, model, simulate, and verify power distribution networks for iPhones. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of industry experience
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in power integrity analysis including modeling, verification, and correlation
  • Experience in layout planning and routing strategies
  • Hands-on experience with EM and circuit simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST, and Cadence
  • Hands-on experience in hardware board-level testing and validation with lab equipment

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze power delivery networks including modeling of DC-DC converters
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders on Power Architecture and IP specifications performance
  • Collaborate with Electrical and Thermal engineering teams to optimize performance
  • Perform design feasibility studies, testing, verification, and system bring-up
  • Provide design guidelines and support for system architecture design and board layout
