The Engineering Program Manager role in Apple's Streaming Media team focuses on leading software projects that impact millions of users daily. • 8+ years of Project / Program Management experience in a high-tech environment
• Experience delivering software features or products to external customers from concept through launch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
• Demonstrated success in leading major, cross-functional software projects
• Ability to quickly develop working knowledge of technical concepts across a wide range of domains
• Technical proficiency in one or more of: audio, video, graphics, or AI/ML
• Experience with software development for consumer media platforms such as mobile, media players, or IPTV
• Familiarity with audio/video streaming technologies including content playback, codec compression, content protection, and CDN-based video distribution

• Define, own, and maintain project plans for the Streaming Media team using the best-suited methodology for each initiative.
• Build and steward a multi-year roadmap of feature commitments that balances engineering capacity, partner priorities, and product strategy.
• Drive clear, consistent communication between media engineering teams and their partners across Apple.
• Lead cross-functional software implementation for supported teams and features from kickoff through delivery.
• Track and communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to a range of audiences, from engineering leads to senior executives.
