Job description
Apple is seeking Display Panel TFT Process and Integration Engineers to innovate in the development of advanced display panels for its products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to create new panel architectures and processes. The position focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes and enhancing existing TFT backplane technologies. Candidates will work closely with teams in California and Asia to ensure the best display performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in equipment technology and process integration for new products, including Photo Lithography, Thin Film, Etch, or Integration functions for various TFT technologies
- Experience in managing TFT processes, equipment, Silicon processes, Fab operations, and R&D activities
- Experience with flat panel displays
- Background in TFT device physics
Responsibilities
- Develop new panel products through technical direction and collaboration with engineering teams and suppliers
- Look for new materials and develop robust processes for advanced display panels from concept to productivity verification
- Modify the TFT stack up and devices to maintain performance in Thin Film, Photo Lithography, or Etch fields
- Achieve optimal performance using advanced manufacturing processes for future products
- Optimize and improve existing TFT backplane processes for new Apple products
