Job description
The Technical Program Manager at Apple will work closely with the New Production Introduction group and a multi-functional team to ensure the delivery of top-quality products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in optics, electronics, and manufacturing processes, along with strong program management skills. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive perfection in product development. The role also includes a significant amount of travel, both domestic and international.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with design and/or manufacturing process development.
- Familiarity with factory operations, 5S, operator training, safety, and security.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as metal forming, molding, and precision pick and place.
- Experience with compiling data and making recommendations for product designs and assembly drawings.
- Experience using process control methodologies, PFMEA, and in-depth failure analysis methods.
- Proven track record of leading a multi-functional team to achieve new product objectives.
