Job description
The Touch Technology team at Apple focuses on developing innovative touch solutions that enhance user interaction with devices like iPhones and iPads. In this role, the engineer will ensure that Apple products meet high touch performance standards. The position involves developing validation methodologies from proof-of-concept to mass production.
Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering background in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies.
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
- Multi-disciplinary understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics principles.
- High proficiency in software and algorithm prototyping using scripting languages like Matlab or Python.
- Experience in hardware prototyping and design of experiments.
- Proficient in data visualization and statistical analysis tools such as Tableau, SpotFire, JMP, or similar.
- Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with touch technology.
- Master's degree with relevant industry experience is preferred.
