The ideal candidate will advocate for user experience throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that design and functionality align with user needs. This role requires effective communication across various teams and the ability to influence design decisions using data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Python and C++ or Swift (or other similar languages)
  • 3+ years of experience in experience quality or development with a track record of shipping quality consumer products
  • Proven ability to facilitate alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with using mixed methods to deliver both qualitative and quantitative learnings about user experiences
  • Ability to build custom analysis and visualization tools to help understand user behavior and experience data
  • Experience working with human factors teams, interface designers, industrial designers, or marketing teams on product development

Responsibilities

  • Identify scenarios where a feature or design works as written but does not meet user expectations.
  • Act as a strategic partner and advocate for the user throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Curate and guide prototype demonstrations for leadership across multiple levels.
  • Connect human factors experts, interface designers, industrial designers, and marketing teams to ensure product cohesion.
  • Translate insights into shared understanding among diverse teams.
  • Articulate user flows and communicate complex experience issues to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
