The Emerging Technologies team at Apple is focused on building scalable platforms and solving complex problems. This role involves developing next-generation perimeter security and load balancing solutions. Engineers will tackle technical challenges related to security, availability, and fault tolerance for Apple's distributed services. Requirements
- Expertise in C and C++ programming languages
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP protocols, and web/network security
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS proxies
- Knowledge of IP networking, BGP, and NAT
- At least 7 years of relevant software development experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
- Programming experience in LUA, Python, Go, and Rust
- Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
- Working experience with load balancer products like IPVS, NGINX, and Envoy
