The Full Stack Engineer will join Apple's Information Systems and Technology group, working closely with software engineers, project managers, and designers. This role focuses on developing and maintaining web tools that meet Apple's high standards for visual perfection. The engineer will also build APIs to support the distribution of the Apple product catalog. The position requires collaboration with multiple teams to enhance operational efficiency and improve user experiences.

• 5+ years of proven experience in UI and front-end web engineering
• 5+ years of proven experience with front end frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember, or similar frameworks
• 4+ years of proven experience with CSS3 and Less/Sass, including the ability to write mixins, partials, and functions for large scale applications
• 5+ years of proven experience with API implementation, including REST, RPC, and GraphQL
• Exposure to using CI/CD tools for building, testing, deploying, and releasing containerized software applications on cloud-based Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of JVM internals, including garbage collection and memory allocation
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including HTTP/HTTPS and load balancing

• Develop and maintain a suite of web tools that provide a rich user experience according to UX requirements
• Build applications with frontend APIs that interact with backend services
• Collaborate with design, operations, QA, business, and software engineering teams
• Design and build backend REST APIs to fetch data needed for frontend integration
• Engage with team members and project managers to define solutions and estimate the scope of work
• Deliver solutions that keep pace with rapidly evolving products in a timely manner
• Successfully multi-task and support multiple concurrent projects
