Job description

In this role, you will work within Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture organization to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in AI-powered features and agentic systems across Apple platforms. You will collaborate with a team of world-class offensive security researchers to enhance the security posture of Apple products. The focus will be on conducting offensive research into AI-specific attack classes and developing capabilities to counteract potential adversarial exploits. This position is critical in shaping the future of intelligent platforms used by billions of users.

Requirements

  • Solid grounding in common vulnerability classes such as memory corruption and logic flaws.
  • Proven experience in security research, vulnerability discovery, or offensive security.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI/LLM systems and their failure modes.
  • Experience applying AI/ML tools to automate or augment security research workflows.
  • Familiarity with prompt injection techniques and model manipulation strategies.
  • Experience with reverse engineering and low-level systems.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Python, C/C++, Swift, or Objective-C.
  • Familiarity with Apple platforms such as iOS and macOS.

Responsibilities
