Job description
The role involves designing, developing, and launching next-generation Touch Technologies for Apple products. The Touch Technology team focuses on creating cutting-edge solutions that enhance the multi-touch user experience. As an analog ASIC architect, you will analyze applications to develop optimal analog front end architectures for touch and sensing ASICs. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the design integrates seamlessly with overall product goals.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Experience developing and launching high volume IC designs
- Strong electrical engineering background in analog circuit design
- Experience in system-level design and requirements documentation
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Verilog, or similar simulation tools
- Ph.D. and a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Architect Touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them
- Translate high level user requirements into realizable systems
- Create high level modeling of proposed solutions
- Develop detailed specifications of the requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical design interactions
