Job description
In this role at Apple, you will lead a team of III-V epitaxy and device experts, collaborating closely with engineering to bring innovative products to life. Your focus will be on influencing technology development and vendor selection during the early concept phase. You will ensure that processes are suitable for mass production and drive continuous improvement activities throughout the product lifecycle. This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills as you will interface with various functional teams and external vendors.
Requirements
- 5+ years in people management
- 10+ years of relevant experience in III-V technologies, Process Integration, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and/or Quality Engineering
- Strong technical understanding of III-V epitaxy and semiconductor devices
- Ability to independently drive projects and accomplish tasks on time
- Interpersonal skills of leadership, communication, teamwork, project management, and influencing
- Good working knowledge of epitaxial growth techniques and optical semiconductor technologies
- Understanding of semiconductor processes and quality systems
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of III-V epitaxy and device experts

- Collaborate with Apple's internal operations and engineering teams
