As a member of Apple's Interconnect team, you will contribute to the development of advanced interconnect technologies for the next generation of devices. This role involves designing high-speed and high-power interconnects, as well as creating innovative wireless interfaces and charging accessories. You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The position requires a strong focus on problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent; BSME or higher
• Analytical and problem-solving skills as applied to mechanical engineering
• Fluency in 3D CAD software
• Ability to design cosmetic and structural plastic and metal components
• Experience in design for manufacturability and design for assembly
• Experience with statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing
• Experience presenting and communicating technical concepts, ideas, and solutions graphically
• The ability to travel internationally (20%+)
• Experience in detailed part and product design in consumer electronics
• Experience with connector design, liquid and dust ingress protection, corrosion, and/or signal integrity
• Experience with design for high-volume manufacturing
• Mandarin language skills
