The iRecon Payments team at Apple is looking for a motivated Data Engineer with a strong background in Data Science to lead their Agentic AI initiatives. This role involves building robust data pipelines and curating high-quality datasets to train custom Large Language Models (LLMs). The team focuses on modernizing data flows within complex financial ecosystems to enhance reconciliation, invoicing, and payments. The position plays a critical role in developing GenAI-powered solutions that boost user productivity and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building machine learning solutions using supervised and unsupervised learning.
- In-depth knowledge of transformer architecture, LLMs, and Agentic AI concepts.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) using PEFT/LoRA for domain-specific tasks.
- Proven experience building and extending RAG, MCP, or multi-agent frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience building production-grade AI/ML solutions in the FinTech domain.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Build robust data pipelines and extract features for custom LLM training.
